What is a ritual blend?
Just as our bodies need times of rest, so do our minds. An intentional ritual of silence can be this mind-rest. Rituals of silence can be found in many cultural and religious expressions. Whether you call it meditation or contemplation, use it as a time for breath prayer, or simply drink a cup of tea with quiet intention, silence is regenerative and deeply nourishing to the mind. These ritual tea blends have each been designed for a specific purpose.
Zephyr is named for the zephyr wind. A zephyr is a soft, gentle wind with a light touch and a feeling of whimsy. It is a wind of the west, untamed and untouched by human hands. Like the wind it is named for, Zephyr is designed to free the voice and bring courage to speak what needs to be said.
If you choose, you can pair your tea ritual with an essential oil. Either diffuse it in the air or dilute a drop of the essential oil with a few drops of a carrier oil such as jojoba or coconut oil and apply it to your wrists, forehead, temples, or the back of your neck.
Suggested essential oil: thyme. Thyme is linked with courage and it can aid in releasing trapped emotions.
“Dare to declare who you are.
It is not far from the shores of silence
to the boundaries of speech.
The path is not long, but the way is deep.
You must not only walk there,
you must be prepared to leap.”-Hildegard of Bingen
